Creation of Slide Show (Photo Montage)

A well organized photo slide program is a perfect way to round out the dinner hour at your event. It adds the personal touch to Birthday Parties, Wedding Anniversaries, Class Reunions, and Banquets. On the day of your event, the side show will be projected onto a large video screen. Each photo is displayed for approxiately 4 to 5 seconds with fade in and fade out transitions.

When you provide us with those old photo prints or slides, we will scan them on the computer and organize them into a Photo Montage Program set to the music of your choice. Also, we can set up a slide program consisting of your own digital photos on CD in JPEG format. You must provide us with the original legal music CD and glossy/digital photos. We can also buy the CD on your behalf.
Unlike most other video transfer services, we fully customize the slide show program with separate title/headline pages and descriptive captions in setting up the photo montage.
You will have an opportunity to preview the slide show with a preview disk so changes can be made before the event.
The client will receive two copies of the DVD at the event which is placed in a custom made DVD case.
Setting Up the Photo Montage Project
1. Number the photos/documents (on the back with pencil or attach it with a post-it note) in the order you want them to appear in the video.
2. Write text captions or quoted statements on Post-It notes and attach them to the appropriate photos. If you desire to place text captions on separate blank pages, write these on 3 X 5 index cards and place them before each photo.
3. Bundle the photos together in groups of 25-30 and put these in zip lock baggies. Number the bags.
4. Artwork and other images may be included as long they are smaller than 8.5" x 11".
5. Photos can be black & white, or in color.
Upon the completion of scanning photos and organizing the video slide show program, we will immediately return all materials to the client.
The Photo Montage Service is where costs are determined separately from the event. I will be happy to go over these costs at your convenience.
Al's Digital Sounds and Videos will gladly play your own constructed or any other professionally made DVD slide show or Microsoft Power Point presentation at your event with no additional cost.
